Go with the 2020 Volvo V90 Inscription T6. It comes with the all-wheel-drive system and fitted with the right tires it can take on any weather condition. T6 is a 2.0-liter 4 cylinder that is turbocharged and supercharged. It churns out 316 horsepower and 295-pound-feet of torque and matches nicely with the already refined V90’s handling.
The Volvo V90 comes with two engine options, T5 and T6. The T5 is a 2.0 L turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a front-wheel-drive layout. It produces 250 hp of power and 258 lb-ft of torque. The all-wheel-drive T6 trim gets a 2.0 L Turbocharged and Supercharged engine that churns out 316 hp and 295 pound-feet of torque. Both the engines are mated to an 8-speed Automatic transmission.
The base engine has got sufficient power for most of the daily needs. However, the twin-charged engine is a better fit and provides instant power for highway cruising. The eight-speed automatic transmission feels slow to downshift at a lower speed.

Acceleration
The Volvo V90 T5 trim takes about 6.4 seconds to reach 60 MPH from a standstill. Though the acceleration is quick and speedy, the power delivery from the engine is inconsistent. It performs well at cruising speeds but sometimes fails to deliver when you want instant acceleration.

Ride and Handling
Being the longest car in this segment, the V90 wagon rides smoothly over most surfaces while the optional rear air suspension improves things further. Despite being the longest in the segment, cornering feels nimble, and there is a decent amount of feedback from the steering wheel.
Keeping the car planted is controlled well by the all-wheel-drive system. With enough amount of feedback from the nimble steering wheel, the V90 can go head-on with a sports sedan around the corner with 0.92 G of grip. Not just highways, the V90 performs flawlessly in all types of road or no road conditions.
The V90 wagon offers confident braking with a stopping distance of 110 feet, the 2020 Volvo V90 lags behind the Mercedes-Benz E450 4Matic as it comes to a halt from 60 MPH in 108 feet. Brakes meanwhile feel firm and solid and there is also not much nosedive while braking at speed.

While the four-ringed giant manages to overpass every rival in terms of fuel efficiency with a combined mpg of 30. The Subaru and Merc fall short in fuel efficiency numbers due to their performance-focused engines.
The Volvo V90 comes stuffed with the best in class interiors. Along with the use of top of the line materials, the V90 also gets a load full of modern tech and gimmicks. Increasing the overall appeal is the combination of wood and metal pieces. The seats feel comfortable enough to let you forgot your day full of tiredness.
Providing rear passengers with ample space is achieved due to the long wheelbase of the V90. Increasing the comfort level are features like heated and ventilated seats with massaging front seats.

Both the private and federal agency has not tested the 2018 Volvo V90 as of now for safety. In terms of reliability, Volvo has covered the V90 with a four year/50,000-mile basic warranty.
Safety Features
Volvo is known for innovations in safety systems and they are the first in the world to get a semi-autonomous system, known as Pilot Assist, as the standard feature. It can operate at the speed of 80 mph and helps the vehicle accelerate, deaccelerate and come to a complete stop. But, it only allows you to take your hands off the steering wheel for 15 seconds. Some of the standard safety features are mentioned below:
If you don’t want to spend much and get all the utility as available in the Volvo V90, the Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited is the best choice you can make. Subaru costs almost $10,000 less and offers better cargo space than the V90. It also gets high ground clearance and standard all-wheel-drive which makes it a perfect vehicle for an outdoor family trip or going for some off-roading adventure. If you are tight on budget and need a value for money vehicle, go with the Outback.
The Mercedes-Benz E450 4Matic has a major advantage of accommodating 7 passengers in a car with almost the same dimension as of the Volvo V90. As an all-terrain vehicle, the Mercedes gets a bigger capacity engine than the Volvo. It's also faster in a quarter-mile and has a better 0-60 MPH numbers. Mercedes also offers better cargo capacity than the Volvo. But, if you are looking for a standout car with a premium built and finish. Consider Volvo V90 before going for any other car.
Audi is smaller, more powerful and more athletic than the Volvo V90. Both the cars have almost the same passenger volume but, the Audi Allroad gets more cargo capacity though being the shortest. The cabin inside the Volvo V90 is more plush and rich. Audi also costs a few thousand dollars less and is a better value for money vehicles.
The Volvo V90 is the best-looking wagon out there. It ranks high in the luxury wagon segment and gets a premium cabin, comfy seats, and potent engine options. It has less cargo space than most of the rivals and also has a high starting price, but that is justified because of its standard features.
