The entry-level turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder makes a significant 13-hp more by relying on a 12-volt "mild-hybrid" system. It now generates 261 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. The 2021 Audi Q5 dashes from 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds faster than the forerunner, that goes unnoticeable in a real-life situation. The system focusses on improved fuel economy during cold starts by assisting with electricity.

The automatic transmission provides better low-end torque, and it comes standard with adaptive dampers and optional air ride suspension. By improving 0.4 seconds, now it just takes 4.7 seconds to reach 60 mph from a standstill as compared to the previous iteration.
