This Giulia GTA, developed by Autodelta, is based on the well-known Giulia Quadrifoglio. Still, at 540 hp, the GTA gets an even more upgraded version of Alfa Romeo’s proven 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6. The GTA also includes ultra-lightweight components in its build. As a result of which the Giulia GTA is 100kgs lighter than the Giulia Quadrifoglio.

On June 24, Alfa Romeo will complete 110 years as a manufacturer, and to commemorate this success, they have resurrected the mythical GTA moniker, which is a milestone in Giulia’s history. The GTA (Gran Turismo Alleggerita) is inspired by the “Giulia Sprint GT,” which remained a legend in motorsport racing and secured many titles all over the world.

This pushes the GTA’s power-to-weight ratio to 2.82 kg/hp, which is simply best-in-class. The GTAm however, is even better. It gets two dry seats, roll bars, and 6-point seat belts. Still, raceprepd road car is going to be completely street legal. Alfa Romeo is all set to shake things up in the event of their over 100 years of manufacturing cars that are as elegant as they are exhilarating.

There could not have been anything better than the Giulia GTA to pay tribute to one of the most recognized representations of the Biscione. Now, the name GTA has been around since 1965 when the first-ever Giulia Sprint GTA was born.

That legend is being revived with advanced technical specifications for better aerodynamics and handling. But Alfa Romeo claims that they do not want to talk of the history they have written. Instead, they want to share it with all by giving people their Giulia GTA.

Autodelta, which is Alfa Romeo’s official racing team, has given the Giulia GTA specific design treatments to improve aero and increase drag. Furthermore, the Giulia GTA’s brand-new Akrapovic titanium center exhaust system and 20-inch, single-drive wheels are a segment first. Then for improved handling, both the front and rear track have been widened by 50 mm. The car also gets new springs, shock absorbers and bushings for higher stiffness and improved responsiveness.

In true Alfa Romeo fashion, the cabin of the Giulia GTA has also been immaculately put together. Everything from the dash to door panels, side pillars, and seat upholstery has been wrapped in Alcantara. The GTAm variant gets an even extensive use of the same.

It also gets specific mounds in the back designed to house helmets and, we bet you couldn’t guess, fire extinguisher. Even the GTAm’s doors get ribbons instead of handles to make it resemble that much more with the world of racing.

So is there a catch? Yes, there is always got to be one. This supercar for daily driving by Alfa Romeo will be made available for 500 customers only. Sad, right? Yes, it is. But the 500 lucky owners of the GTA and GTAm will be treated to a world of exclusive customer experience. From order to delivery of this Alfa Romeo, a brand ambassador and product expert will be with the customer through every step.

After one has purchased the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA or the GTAm, a personalized welcome kit will be handed to the person. That kit will include a Bell helmet in iconic GTA livery, total Alpinestars racing attire, and a custom-made Goodwool car cover to keep your GTA and GTAm safe. This Alfa Romeo experience will also feature a particular driving course developed personally by Alpha Romeo Driving Academy for the most faithful purist.
