The Honda Civic is a very popular family sedan and nothing seems to take this title. The Honda Civic has been the model that has flaunted its athletic looks for more than a decade now. The driving experience strikes a perfect balance between comfort and driver involvement. Aside from its sporty looks and lavish interiors, it has all the features that one desires in a coupe.

The Civic Coupe offers some essential features like LED Fog Light, LED Daytime Running Lights, a decent infotainment system with advanced voice recognition system, heated seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. The Civic Sport 2dr Coupe is a good trim to opt for. It gets the engaging manual transmission with better 18-inch wheels that enhance the car's appeal.
There are 2 engine options available on the Civic. There is the 2.0L Inline 4 and the 1.5L turbocharged inline 4. The bigger 2.0L engine generates lesser power as compared to the 1.5L turbocharged engine. The engine is torquey enough to quench those random speed thirsts on open roads.
The transmission just like the engine is available in 2 versions the 6-speed manual and the 2-speed CVT (continuous-variable transmission). The CVT is the best in class for its fuel economy and smooth operation. The 6-speed manual is a total thrill to drive. The clutch is smooth to ensure good shifts all the way.

Facing the competition heat is the 2020 Subaru BRZ Coupe. Powered by 2 flat engines sitting on top of each other making an H4 mill, the Subaru BRZ’s boxer engine makes 205 horsepower and produces a maximum torque of 156 lbs./ft.
On the other hand, is a Toyota makes 2020 86 Coupe which is based on the same body as of the 2020 BRZ. Powered by the same engine, the H4 2 liter powerhouse makes 205 hp and 156 lbs./ft.
Enough to make your head punch the headrests on the bucket seats but not enough to host a launch control, the 2020 Civic is a schoolboy trying to bunk the class in his school dress. Ready to go zip-zap-zoom with the touch of the throttle, the acceleration of the Civic release a lot on its turbocharged capabilities.
The 2020 Honda Civic Coupe goes 0 to 60 mph (miles per hour) in 7.2 seconds. It has a quarter-mile speed of about 15.3 seconds. Nimble enough to highlight its character, not by eyes but sound, the 2020 Civic Coupe is both lightweight and capable.

Looks like Subaru has done a pretty darn good job in keeping its H4 engine productive enough to churn out great speed digits. 0 to 60 in 6.2 seconds is what Subaru claims for the BRZ. Hosting the same engine and similar body arms, the 2020 Toyota 86 runs parallel to the BRZ.
If ride and handling are considered to be 2 different phenomenons in the car world, the 2020 Civic Honda is good at both. It is a driver’s car for sure but what it shines in is ride capabilities as well. If the first turn of your drive explains its nimbleness, the second for sure will treat you with zippy references of a structurally amaze machine. Enough body roll restraints keep the dance away while its Firestone FT140 all-season tires are not capable enough to keep the adrenaline pumping.
Like the ninjas on two ends of a pole, the 2020 Civic balances its act with both comfortability and sports ability. Another ___ability word the Civic adheres to is affordability. $23,500 is fair enough for a car of this capability.
OH DAMN! Enough with the ___ability blabber.
Brake shoes hugging the tires are not as large as those of competition. A good over 1-inch difference in brake sizes keeps the 2020 Honda Civic on the 3rd podium. Being heavier than its competition, the braking on the Civic is not much of a charming feature.
Although well versed with its duties, the braking on this machine is good enough to do its job.

The Civic returns some pretty good MPG numbers which are as good as that of a hybrid vehicle. The fuel economy of the Civic Coupe is the best among its class. The Civic's biggest sale point during the '70s and '80s was the fuel efficiency on offer. This year as well the Civic lives up its reliable and fuel-efficient image.

The Civic has its competitors beat in terms of fuel efficiency. The Civic's city MPG figure is more than both its competitor's highway MPG which proves the efficiency of the Civic.
The interior of the Civic feels sporty due to the bolstered front seats. It’s built is lavishly made for the best feel. The legroom is also generous for a compact size sedan but sills are wide which hinders entry and exit. Ergonomics are well suited for an average-sized individual. It has a substantial amount of cabin space than most of the rivals.
The front seats are 8-way adjustable to provide the user with a much more comfortable driving position. The steering wheel is also adjustable to suit the driver and provide the best comfort. The interior of the Civic is conservative with full of premium material and high-grade plastic components. It is evident from the interior that this car has been designed to ensure it meets the requirements of a daily driver and then some more.

The legroom both in the front and the rear is better in the Civic when compared to its competition. The 86 and the BRZ are similar in the space available to the occupants.
The infotainment is a 7inch touch screen which is standard on all trims. The addition of the volume knob makes volume control easier. The infotainment is supported by 10 speakers surround-system which includes a sub-woofer. Andriod Auto and Apple CarPlay come standard for better smartphone connectivity. The user interface is very simple and easy to get used to.
The features that make the infotainment even more engaging are
The trunk storage of Civic Coupe takes a drastic hit as the design aims to give the market a compact car with the space of a mid-segment sedan. The rear folding seats add more storage capacity to house extra luggage during the holidays. The daily baggage is more than accommodated for along with enough storage space for the groceries.

The Civic provides almost double the storage space available in both its competitors here. Both the BRZ and the 86 have a similar boot space again which is not accommodating at all.
The Civic looks very aggressive from every angle with a lower and wider silhouette, the length has sporty lines running all over it. The LED DRLs add a much mean outlook at the Civic. Its wide stance with sloping rooflines looks daring but innovative. The design upgrade is welcomed by all Civic fans alike. The grille in the front with the black accents and the air vents make up the angry face of the Civic.
The rear of the Civic Coupe reminds one soo much of the Type-R rear. The exhaust is again centrally mounted completing its unique Civic look. A spoiler on the rear will probably give it a much more sporty look. But honestly, it looks sporty enough as it sits.

The Civic has more length and wheelbase compared to the competitors. The BRZ and 86 are basically the same cars with the same design and engine but with different badges. This is why in most comparisons both the vehicles have a similar number.
The exterior features of the 2020 Honda Civic Coupe include:
The Civic Coupe has been rated 5 stars by NHTSA post the crash tests. This shows how safe and reliable the Civic is. It has been one of the cars which have been known to be safe all through their life cycle.
The list of features that add to the safety of the cars are.
Competing coupes is an interesting sight to behold. Especially when its two Japanese in the ring. Priced almost $5 thousand costlier than the Civic Coupe, the Subaru BRZ makes more power and torque figures. It also hosts a few bits of features that are missing from the Honda makes. Where Honda picks a star is in its performance capabilities, storage space, and its turbocharged engine. The Honda Civic is not only comfortable but also wins the race here in terms of better legroom and headroom.
Another contender in the ring is the 2020 Toyota 86. Based on exactly the same count and figures as the Subaru BRZ, the 86 gives Civic damages equal to that of the BRZ. If you are in the market for an under 25 thousand dollar plush coupe with enough power figures to outrun german sedans in the segment, go for the BRZ or Toyota 86. If you are looking for a coupe with enough legroom and comfort, go for the 2020 Civic coupe.
Agree or not, the Japanese have done a tremendous job in making Civic a relevant car for most of its user base. Available in more than one body styles such as coupe, sedan, and hatchback, the 2020 Honda Civic is a winner all the way. Brilliant drive dynamics, enough room in the cabin and amazing pricing make this coupe worth its hype.
