There are very few cars out there that have a balance between power and style like the 2020 Aston Martin DB11 Coupe. The car is the ultimate grand-touring weapon you could ever find out there. Under the hood is a sublime V12 which is soulful, frankly a bit on the excessive side so for those thinking the same way, there is also a V8 option available. Apart from the fact that the V8 gives out 125 hp less, it is also 200 pounds lighter and better centered so it really comes down to the personal choice of the owner which one he/she goes for. Apart from that, there is no shortage of incredible luxury that any premium grand tourer should have.

There's a mixed view with regards to Aston Martin's life span of their vehicles on the road. At a certain point, Aston Martin's were entirely untrustworthy, however, they appear to have gotten increasingly reliable lately. The owners have been pretty happy with the modern models they have on their hands with only a few problems with the electrics. One particular model as an example of this would be the V8 Vantage which only had on recall in its entire lifetime. One reason why that is because of the tradition of Aston Martins being hand-built. This means that while the quality and the uniqueness of the car is unbeatable, it doesn’t have the dependability of more mainstream models that use sophisticated and modern manufacturing techniques.

Final Verdict

Aston Martin has a reputation for building some fast and fabulous sports and grand touring weapon, complete with the British branding and endless James Bond references. Driving this 2+2 grand tourer is nothing short of addictive and is capable of giving you endless dopamine releases. It catches the eyes of the onlookers and in fact also their ears should you opt for the twin-turbocharged V12, which is available in the track-oriented AMR model. The AMR, apart from showing some immense potential for the track fanatics, is truly beautiful inside out. But there is a caveat, which is that the V12 might feel too overpowered for the car, and can take the joy out of driving if half the time is spent only to overcome that torque steer. The upshifts are not smooth and can be quite abrupt, to be frank. The interior quality, though great but some blunders have been committed in certain parts inside. Should you want luxury, why not look at the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The car may not have the superlative style and the scintillating performance as the DB11, but it has tremendous value for the luxury money and bulletproof build quality. Another more direct rival is the Bentley Continental which is another grand-touring focused machine. With a few more standard features available, it really comes down to a personal preference of which one you should go with. But should you want a car to flaunt your automotive success and exploit some roadway curves, the DB11 Coupe has to be it.
